John Paul Drake

John Paul Drake, age 47, of Alva passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born in North Fort Myers on April 6, 1969 to John Henry and Nonetta Drake. John was raised in North Fort Myers and graduated from North Fort Myers High School in 1987. He married Tiffany Santini on July 29, 1995. John worked for the Lee County DOT. He enjoyed fishing with his family and was a “master of all trades”. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.

He was preceded in death by his father. John is survived by his wife, Tiffany and daughter, Marissa both of Alva; his mother Nonetta Drake of North Fort Myers; brother, Jay Collier; sisters: Lessie Drake-McClure and Sherry (Joe) Kirkland; nieces and nephews: T.J. McClure, Darian Combs, Elana Combs, Chayce Gorton and Ethan and Owen Playford.

The family kindly requests no food and to respect their privacy while they mourn at home. Please join them at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park on Saturday, April 23, 2016 for visitation from 10 to 11 am. Burial will be private.
