On June 8, 2019, John Arlin Jackson, Sr. loving father, grandfather, and uncle passed away at the age of 84 years. He was a graduate of Cayman Islands High School. John served 6 years in the US Army Reserve. He was also a lifetime honorary member of the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches.
John will always be lovingly remembered by his family, daughter, Nancy (John) Jackson and sons, Jody (Tammy) Jackson and John Jackson, Jr. He was loved greatly by his grandchildren, Adriana, Jackilyn, Evelyn, Alexander, Tyler, Asiyah and Penelope. He will be sadly missed by his multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in the United States and Cayman Islands. John was predeceased by his mother, Cora Vernice Thompson Jackson and father, John McNeil Jackson and sisters, Jewel Ardith Jackson Higginson and Olsey Vernice Jackson Corn.
A visitation will be held at 12:30 pm Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Ft Myers, FL 33913 followed by the funeral service at 1pm.
