

John H. Kuhns, 75, a devoted father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away after a valiant five-month battle against cancer, surrounded by his loving family. John’s life revolved around his cherished family; his two sons, Frank and Bryan (Tut), were his pride and joy, and his grandchildren, Toby and Mackenzie, brought immense happiness into his life. He was proud to be an American and a veteran, serving in the U.S.Army.
For over four decades, John devoted himself to the telecommunications industry managing operations across three states with unwavering passion and dedication. Beyond his professional pursuits, John found joy in the simple pleasures in life, including hunting, fishing, a love for golf, music playing his guitar, and rooting for the Steelers.
Known for his magnetic personality, John never met a stranger, effortlessly connecting with people through his quick wit and sense of humor. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Fran; his son, Frank; daughter in law, Misty; grandchildren, Toby and Mackenzie, his brother, Ed (Beverly); his nieces and nephews and extended family members. Celebrations of his life will be held in both Florida and Pennsylvania to honor and remember the remarkable life of John H. Kuhns.
