John Frederick Sweezey, 78, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away Friday, June 10, 2022. He is survived by his daughters Charlene (Sweezey) Couillard, Kerry Sweezey; step-daughters Darlene (Puliciano) Klofac, and Wendy (Puliciano) Lamontagne; brothers George Sweezey, Robert Sweezey, and Stephen Sweezey; 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Gail (Stewart) Sweezey and step-son Robert Puliciano. John was an Ironworker for over 40 years with Local 7 in Boston, MA. He helped build many iconic structures in and around the city including the John Hancock, One International Place, and the Ray and Maria Stata Center. John loved all animals, wild and domestic, but was especially fond of his cats.
