Jose "Yankee" Rivera

He was president of the Latin America Motorcycle Association in Fort Myers and secretary of the Latin America Motorcycle Association Southeast Region. Everyone that knows Jose knows he was a free spirited, happy person who loved riding his Harley and watching baseball.

Yankee is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Gonzalez; his sons: Joeanthony Rivera and his wife Gloria Rivera, and Josue Rivera; his mother, Antonia Rivera; brothers and sisters: Norma, Zoraida, Migdalia, Juan, Federico, Victor, Marina and Lisandra; 17 nieces and nephews and his Latin America Motorcycle Association family. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Federico Viera and his brother, Josue Viera.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL on Sunday, October 29th from 12:00 pm until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions in Jose’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
