Jose Vera Luciano

He was a generous person, always willing to help those in need. He enjoyed sharing Bible stories and the word of God with people he met in his daily endeavors. He loved to bring the family together over meals he helped his wife prepare.

Jose is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maria Luisa Vera; children: Evelyn (Alejandro) Palomino, Daisy (Julio Marin) Vera, Robert (Rosa) Vera and Magaly (Edgar) Vera Delgado; granchildren: Yelithza, Angel, Silvera, Jasmine, Jocelyn, Roberto Jr., Noel, Brianna and Edgar Jr.; great grandchildren: Daniela, Sofia, Ana, Nathaniel, Angelie and Maya; sister, Evarista and brother, Wenselao.He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Nathaniel Roman.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82 in Fort Myers on Friday, August 11th from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2 :00 pm. Interment will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
