Larry Marshall Ferrill

Larry Marshall Ferrill, 80, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026. Born on January 30, 1946, in Greensburg, Kentucky, Larry was the son of Colby and Gertrude Judd Ferrill, both of whom preceded him in death.

Larry was a devoted family man who cherished the time spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Van Horn Ferrill, whom he married on October 28, 1983. He is also survived by his children, Brian Ferrill of Effingham, Illinois, and Traci Terhune (Tony) of New Whiteland, Indiana and his stepson and daughter-in-law, Jim Van Horn (Kathy) from Labelle, Fl.

He was a proud grandfather to Joshua, Paige, Amber, and Jayden, and was also blessed with twelve great-grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his brother, Russell Ferrill (Donna) of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Ferrill (Karen) of Greenwood, Indiana.

A graduate of Ball State University, Larry earned his bachelor’s degree in 1969. He went on to build a successful career in sales and retired in 2011 from Genuine Parts Company (NAPA).

Larry was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Alva and will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his kind spirit.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
