I was saddened to read the notice of Larry's passing in today's Buffalo News. I last saw him at the 50th reunion of his CHHS grsduating clsass in 2008. Likewise I was shocked to hear that his sister Phyllis has predeceased him. It is difficult for old teachers to hear their students have 'crossed the bar' before them.' I fondly remember Larry in my 11th grade English class and as a valued member of our Alpha Boys Hi-Y Service Club. He played trumet in our Alpha Boys Hi-Y Band and loved to play "Blue Jean Bues.' So here's to one more chorus of him playing it with the band. Jeannie and I send prayers for the repose of Larry's immortal soul and comfort for his wife and family.

Sad to hear about my cousin Larry. Always enjoyed time with him at family occasions. Thoughts and prayers for his family.

Sincere condolences to Larry's family.  We will miss him at Colonial Country Club.  He was such an important member of our community.  I'm sure he is golfing in Heaven.

My wife and i were deeply saddened to learn of Larry's passing.  He was a real friend to us at Colonial. He was a special person.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my neighbor and friend.  I so wish that I could pay my respects at the time of the services but I am in NJ at the moment so distance makes that not doable.

Although we all try to say the right words to convey  our sadness on Larry's passing and to give you words of strength to move forward, the reality is that our efforts fall short..  Nevertheless, I hope there will be comfort in knowing  so many share your loss and wish you spiritual strength..

So sad to hear our cousin Larry passed away. I only have fond memories of Larry. He was always there for our family. I will never forget riding in Larrys 57 Chevy.

I just heard the horrible news..I'm so sorry to hear this :( I loved seeing Mr Romano outside and talking to him when you guys lived next to us in Buffalo!  He always gave me a hard time(jokingly) about "the parties"I had when my parents were away..haha My thoughts are with the rest of the family! He will be missed

I always looked up to Lawrence, as our oldest male cousin.   He also gave me a job assembling shelving when I was in college.   I bumped into Lawrence on a beach in Hilton Head, and we briefly shared memories of what it was like growing up in our great, extended family.   It was like we had never been apart.
