She was an accomplished pattern maker and clothing designer.
Maria is survived by her husband, Ralph Kotsur; children: Joselyn (Daniel) Haight, Hilda Suero, Robert Valentin and Hector Valentin; grandchildren: David Haight and Christiane (Jared Taylor) Haight; sister, Maritza Pichardo and brothers: Luis Manuel Pichardo, Morris Pichardo and Jose Raphael. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Maria Pichardo and her brothers: Ramon Pichardo and Hector Antonio.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park on Friday, August 29th from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
