With profound sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie Grafton, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched. She died peacefully at Hope Hospice on January 16, 2021.
Born in Odell, Illinois, Marjorie was the youngest of 10 children. She was raised on a farm and went to a one room elementary school. After marrying Gary in Colorado in 1960 they moved to Ohio, where they raised their family. Marjorie lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker, secretary, bookkeeper and volunteer. After retirement, she and Gary traveled to all 50 states and Canada, much of it in their RV. They enjoyed wintering in Florida, and made it their year-round home in 2018. She loved family meals, Florida beaches, and a good book from the library. She knew that Palmetto Palms was special and cherished all of her friends there.
Marge was the beloved wife of Gary, mother of Julie MacKenzie (Geoff) and Steve (Jackie Farrell), and proud grandmother of Ethan MacKenzie. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
