Marlene was truly a force to be reckoned with. She lived each day with her whole heart, giving herself completely to the people and moments she loved. Her strength, faith, and unwavering belief that anything is possible carried her through life’s greatest challenges with grace and courage.
The last five years of her life were a gift she never took for granted. She embraced every moment with gratitude, joy, and her signature sense of humor. Even in difficult times, Marlene continued to smile, laugh, and remind those around her to cherish each day.
She is now reunited with her beloved Mom, Dad, brother-in-law Omar, Tia Carmita, and many dear family members and friends.
Marlene’s light shone brightly in the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her loving sisters, Daysi and Jenny; her cherished nephews, Omar and Francisco Garcia; and her loving goddaughter, Vivian. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
A visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, located at 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL, 33913, on February 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
