Patricia Ann Knowles, 84, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away January 9, 2025. She was born June 30th, 1940. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School Class of 1957 and received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida A & M University. She taught in the school system in Maryland as well as the Lee County School District.
Patricia is survived by her children: Curtis Knowles, Jr., Terrance (Kim) Knowles, Terri Chaney and Debra (Aaron) Howard; grandchildren: Zenobia Hawkins, Janesha Wynn, Dakota Knowles, Demarco Knowles, Jaden Knowles, Brielyn Knowles; 6 great grandchildren, sisters: Vivian Chaney Brown and Pamela Cheeseborough; dedicated niece, Nanette Cheeseborough and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Knowles, Sr., her siblings: Bobbie Chaney Williams, John Chaney, Sr., James Chaney, Sr. Raymond Chaney and Larry Chaney and her parents, Irene and John Chaney, Sr.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park on Friday, January 17th from 5 to 7 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home Saturday, January 18th at 10 am followed by interment in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
