Richard Quinn

Richard was born to parents Norman & Betty Quinn on September 16, 1948 in West Hartford, CT and was their second of five children. After graduating High School, Richard served honorably in the United States Air Force.

Shortly after discharge, Richard began his career in Retail Management. It is here that he met the love of his life, Carole.

Richard and Carole married on February 14, 1975 and graced the earth with four beautiful children, all of which adored him.

In life, Richard delicately maneuvered thru the balance of work and family, seldom absent from his children’s and grandchildren’s activities and sporting events. His hobby was “Family” and he mastered it. Always seeing life thru the eyes of a child. Richard was happiest in the company of his loving wife, Carole, inspiring his children, spoiling his grandchildren, admiring the Clydesdales and rooting for the Rays.

Richard is survived by his wife Carole; sisters Eileen, Nancy, Beverly, Debbie; his daughters Wendy, Kimberly, Christine, Heather ; and his thirteen grandchildren.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at Summit Church. 19601 Ben Hill Griffin Parkway. Fort Myers, Florida on April 23rd at 10:30 am with a reception to follow at the church.
