Ronald Warren York, 71, of Fort Myers, Fl, passed away on August 24, 2020, after a courageous battle with a long illness. Ron was born on November 1st, 1948, in Elvira, NY. After graduating from Osceola High School in Kissimmee, he earned a degree cum laude in Accounting and Finance from the University of Central Florida and had a successful career as a CPA, entrepreneur and restaurateur.
Ron was an avid hiker and kayaker. He was passionate about the beautiful planet Earth, loved the outdoors and the adventure of world travel. He was a member of the Mayflower Society, Sons of the American Revolution and a direct descendent of John Alder.
Ron is survived by his loving wife Marcia of 53 years and their four sons all of Florida: Todd York, Marc York and his wife Suki, Lance York, Logan York and his wife Ashley. Grandchildren Krystal Hofacker, Christopher Hofacker and his wife Maya, Madison and Samantha York.
