Roy served in the United States Air Force and was very proud of his time in service. Following his military service, he started a small business, United Tuner Repair, and was self-employed until his retirement. In his spare time, he loved to play the guitar, a passion that he continued up until the last couple of weeks of his life.
On November 18, 1961, he married the love of his life, Sara (Copeland) Key, and they would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on November 18th. He is survived by his wife, Sara; their two children, Chad Key and Kelly (Mark) Huguenin; and one beloved furry grand-pup, Coco, which he was very proud of. Roy is also survived by his brother, J.C. Key (Sandra); and his sisters, Frances Sesler and Wanda Daugherty; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
