Scott Michael Rothweiler

Scott was born on August 29th, 1966, in New Brunswick, New Jersey to his late parents Suzanne and Graham Rothweiler. Scott was a loving husband, dedicated father, and friend to all. He spent the days of his youth in New Jersey with his three brothers John, Todd and Gary. He went on to study at Memphis State university and soon after graduating joined the United States Air Force. While dutifully serving his country, he met his wife, Missy. They were married in 1992 and had 3 children Holly, Patrick and Julia.

Scott served in the United States Air Force from November 1st, 1989, until May 1st of 1998. He was part of the Space and Missile Operations, Missile Combat Crew in Minot, North Dakota. He finished his active duty years at Bowling Green State University as an Air Force ROTC instructor. Scott continued in the Air Force Reserves for twelve years assisting potential candidates applying for the US Air Force Academy.

In 2006 Scott started building his life’s work, HPJ industries. Starting on his own while renting space from his friend Joe Herringshaw’s warehouse, he built HPJ from the ground up. Over many years, with the help of many wonderful employees that he considered his second family, he built a formidable business in the packaging and recycling industry. His legacy continues to run through HPJ with his belief that HPJ is recycling and packaging done right relying on honesty and integrity to grow the business. HPJ will celebrate its 20-year anniversary next year.

Scott will be remembered as a joyful, fun loving, and hard-working soul. He loved fishing, golfing, and enjoying a cold beer at the many different establishments of Bowling Green, Ohio and Sanibel, Florida.
