Veronica Dorothy Albury

She was born in Massachusetts to deceased parents William and Amelia Jeromski. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to Robert R Albury and they lived many years in Rhode Island before his retirement to Lehigh Acres, for the past 27 years.

Veronica leaves her children from her former husband, the late Francis N Rooney, who are Patricia Knuckles, Cranston RI, Kathleen Rooney, Lehigh Acres Fl, Paula Ribeiro, Anaheim Ca, Gregory M Rooney, Brooklyn NY and Frances Cinq-Mars, Loris S. C.; her late sons Stephen Rooney, RI, James Rooney, Pa, Robert Rooney, RI and Daniel Rooney RI; and also 2 stepdaughters, Patricia Albury, Al and Melody Kelly, RI. She is also survived by her sister Paula Stevens of West Palm Beach, Fl. Veronica had 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, Florida 33913 on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00am. Entombment will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. For information, please call, (239)334-4880.
