William Herman Hopple II

Bill was preceded in death by his parents William Hopple Sr. and Miriam Hopple.

He is survived by his loving wife Jeanne Hopple and his brother Dave Hopple and wife Debbie. He is also survived by his daughters Mary Hencher, husband Chris, Melissa Hopple, and his son Matthew Hopple, wife Clare. Bill is also survived by his grandson, Caden Hencher.

Bill was a PGA certified golf instructor. He’d spend most of his time golfing, teaching or watching the sport he loved.

Bill was also a lover of low-budget sci-fi movies, and you’d find him most days watching the Sy-Fy channel, calling the programs ‘ reality TV’. He loved cooking for family and friends. Breakfast was his favorite meal. Bill’s loving and welcoming personality led him to have friends all over the world, he will be truly missed by his loving family.

A memorial visitaion for William will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bill’s celebration of life will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park On Tuesday November 9, 2021 at 10:00 am. Lunch will be held on site directly following the service.
