

Born November 2, 1926 in Wabasso, FL to James Ada Carter and William Thomas McCullers of Winter Beach, FL
Married 62 Blessed years, to Roberta Peterson at First Baptist Church of Winter Beach, FL. They were also blessed with 3 beautiful children; son Billy James Jr. aka Jimmy, daughter; Deborah aka Debbie, and son; Timothy aka Timmy.
He was preceded in death by both parents, brother; George M. McCullers, Sisters; Rose Mary Hinkle, and Betty Siniard, and son; William Timothy McCullers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years; Roberta, currently of Okeechobee, FL., Son; Billy James McCullers, Jr.(Cindy) of Okeechobee, Daughter; Deborah Bryant(Doug), of Troy, AL., Daughter In-law; Holly K. McCullers of Thomasville, GA. (8) Grandchildren; John David Howard Jr.(Cynthia), Pamela Suzanne Alexander(Justin), Billy James McCullers, III (Shawna), Matthew Michael Howard(Melissa), Brian McCullers(Ashley), Allison M. McCullers-Bartlett (Teresa), Joshua William McCullers(Tracey), Angela Joy McCullers. He also has 17 precious Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Fay Ferriole of Long Beach, CA. and Bernita Raulerson of Vero Beach, FL. And many beloved nieces and nephews.
B.J. proudly served in the US Navy, WWII, 114th Naval Construction Battalion, Special Unit known as the 114th Sea Bees.
He had a passion for people and loved his Lord. He loved telling everyone about the Love of Jesus Christ. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vero Beach where he served with the Gideons International, travelling around the state sharing Christ and giving Bibles to schools, hospitals, universities and hotels. He also loved Shiloh Youth Ranch and served with the Billy Graham Crusades.
He began his work experience with Cole Plumbing after learning what he could about plumbing he started his own water well drilling business thus beginning the legacy of McCullers Well Drilling in Vero Beach becoming one of the largest Residential, Commercial, and Agricultural water well drillers in Florida, also drilling large wells in the Bahamas.
Bro. Jimmy Hinkle of Shiloh Youth Ranch will be officiating. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 3pm, with the family receiving guests from 2-3pm at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL on US 1 between Vero Beach and Fort Pierce.
