Edwin was born in Lakewood, OH and had been a resident of Vero Beach for thirty six years coming from Chesterland, OH.
Edwin served in the Army during World War II, receiving the Purple Heart.
Prior to retirement, Edwin worked in the US Post Office for thirty years in Chesterland, OH. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Vero Beach. Edwin loved to travel, both on the road and abroad. He enjoyed painting, playing cards and board games.
Survivors include his daughters, Cathleen Hatcher of Umatilla, FL, Beth Ann Butters of Bonners Ferry, ID, son, Dennis Lincks of Bonners Ferry, ID, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Lincks.
A Service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church in Vero Beach, FL. A private Entombment was held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
