Born in New York City, NY he has been a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for the past 28 years, formerly of Farmingdale, New York.
Frank was a United States Army veteran, serving in World War II. Prior to retirement, he was a foreman for 40 years for Graybar Electric Long Island, NY. He was a member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus, of Port St. Lucie, FL and St. Mark Catholic Church, Fort Pierce, FL. He also enjoyed golf and shooting pool. Frank was an avid reader of history and current events
Survivors include, sons, Jerome Rizzo, of Port St. Lucie, FL and Robert Rizzo, of Fort Pierce, FL, brother, Michael Rizzo, of Yonkers and 1 grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Betty Rizzo.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Fort Pierce, FL at 1:00pm, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
