Howard Edgar Robinson, who never met a stranger, passed away February 20, 2024. A resident of Hutchinson Island, Florida, he was originally from Hartford County, Maryland, where he resided for many years.
He was predeceased by his parents Miles E Robinson and Elizabeth Z. Robinson, a stepson Shelly Harris, a sister Mabel Meinhardt, and brothers-in-law Norman Jack Dean and Victor Meinhardt.
Mr. Robinson graduated from Bel Air High School, served four years in the United States Air Force, served 20 years as a volunteer with the Lawnwood Hospital, and was a member of the 55 Club at his church and the American Legion. He was an avid softball player all his life.
He is survived by Cleo Robinson, his loving wife of 26 years, stepsons Terry Murray and William Woodbeck (Jackie) , sisters Mary Dean, Louise Lentz ( Bob) , Jane Motsinger (Robert ) , many nieces and nephews, and cherished lifelong friends Raymond K. Class and Pastor Dan Baker.
A memorial service will be held April 27th at 10 am at the Community United Methodist church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Community United Methodist Church, 3114 Okeechobee Rd, Ft Pierce, Florida 34947.
