Jeff Swagger

Jeff was born August 3, 1952 in Bowling Green, OH. He grew up in suburban Cleveland, OH. He lived and worked in Atlanta, GA for many years until moving to Delray Beach, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jane and Skip Sorensen, his father John Swagger, his brother Richard Swagger, and faithful four legged companion Mozart.

Earning his degree in Computer Science from Clayton Jr. College and attending classes at Georgia Institute of Technology, Jeff worked in many aspects of computer programming until becoming a Senior Systems Programmer at Mutual of America in Boca Raton, Florida.

Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His interests included reading, comedy, tracking current events, all things technological, and thought provoking conversations while having a nice glass of bourbon.

Survivors include devoted brothers Jon Swagger (Carol) of Vero Beach, FL and Mark Sorensen (Theresa) of McKinleyville, CA; caring sisters Martha Countegan (Dale) of Farmington Hills, MI and Lisa McKeown (John) of Flemington, NJ; and adored nieces and nephews Michelle Ring (Karl), Catherine Swagger, Jamie Swagger, Carolyn Countegan, Johnny McKeown and Kelly McKeown.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 11am – 12pm with the funeral service immediately afterward at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
