Joseph was born in Williamsburg, PA. He was a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 30 years coming from Tawas City, MI.
During WW II Joseph served with the 10th Armored “Tiger” Division of the U.S. Army in the European Theater.
Prior to retirement he was a Supervisor for Detroit & Mackinaw Railroad Motive Power and Equipment Division. Joseph was a member at Lakewood Park United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer having shot 15 holes in one through his lifetime, including his last one at the age of 85.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Shirley Daugherty and is survived by his son Gary Daugherty or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
