Juanita Harris

Juanita was born in 1928 to the late Beatrice (Bullard) and Wesley Davis in Columbus County, NC, a rural farming community. She was the oldest of eight children. She is survived by her youngest brother, Jerry Davis.

Juanita had many talents and skills in which she took great pride. She returned to school in her 40s to become a talented hairdresser. She loved gardening and was a highly skilled seamstress. Juanita showed love to family and friends through her many acts of service.

Juanita was mother to Helen Baxley (Jesse), Jeanie Dunn, Judith Soles (Jerry) and Phyllis Albro (Michael).

She was grandmother to Christy Hilburn, Andrew Babson, J. Howell Baxley, Tracy Fraser, Christopher Wyngaard, Ashley Wyngaard, Mark Mitchell, Carissa Chantiles and Nick Chantiles and numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Juanita was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Phillip Harris, daughter, Jeanie Dunn, granddaughter, Tracy Fraser, son-in-law, Jerry Soles, her parents and six of her seven siblings.
