Dear Norman and Family,

I am so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing.  Peggy and my mom, Margaret Wong, were penpals.  Every year at Christmas time, I always loved looking at your family picture that Peggy mailed to my mom,  and matching up the names of the kids with the faces.  

My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

We were so saddened to hear about Peggy's passing. She was a kind-hearted and beautiful person. We always enjoyed her stories about your family when she wrote to my mom, Margaret, all through the years, and in person, when your family moved to California for a short time.

I remember when I met you, Peggy and your family when you came to California in 1972.  Peggy was my mom's (Margaret Wong) penpal since grammar school, and I remember Peggy's beautiful handwriting on her letters and Christmas cards to us.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Uncle Norman,  our prayers go out to you and your family.  It is so sad loosing a love one however we have to thank the lord they are in a better place. We will all miss Aunt Peg.  I always remember the kindness she showed toward all the children at our family gathering.

Peg was truly a sweet, beautiful, wonderful woman and friend. She made us smile when she entered a room.  We were always so happy to see her coming across the road to visit and will miss her very much.  We are lucky to have many lovely memories which we will treasure.  Our deep condolences to Norm and her lovely family.

Uncle Norman, Margaret, Norm, Rosemary, Maureen and Mark.  I am sorry I can't be there with all of you.  I just spoke with Aunt Peg a few weeks ago.  All of you know that my prayers and thoughts are with you.

It was my pleasure to have taken care of Peggy for the last two months, she was a truly beautiful woman.....I am so happy that I was able to take her outside to enjoy the sun on her face while she was on the 5th floor......My deepest sympathies to the Desmarias family, and especially her loving husband Norman.

Auntie Peg was the sweetest woman I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  She has been so kind to my kids over the years with cards for every occasion and the famous "$2 bills.  I loved her very much.  May she rest peacefully and may you all be comforted with memories and hugs from one another.
