

Pasquale Massaro, 90, of Vero Beach, FL passed away peacefully on December 17, 2020. He was born in Waterbury, CT on January 18, 1930, to devout Catholic parents, the late Salvatore "Sam" and Faustina (DeGregorio) Massaro. Coming from a loving and close-knit family, he was the fourth of six children.
In his teens, Pasquale was employed by the Naugatuck Glass Company; he faithfully worked for them as a foreman for about 46 years.
After retirement, he enjoyed attending daily Mass with his two sisters, Helen Massaro and the late Mary Damato. A few hobbies he took pleasure in included carpentry, painting, electrical work and watching old classic films.
He is survived by his two sisters, Philomena Scalo (Edgewater, FL) and Helen Massaro; two brothers, Anthony Massaro (Waterbury, CT) and Reverend Michael Massaro of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church; he lived closely with his nephew, Anthony Damato, and his niece, Carmella Comboni and her husband, Stephen. Pasquale, being a quiet, gentle and humble soul, will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
On Tuesday, December 29, due to the Covid pandemic, the visitation, the Mass of Christian Burial, and the entombment will be held privately, open only to the immediate family, but will be made available via Facebook Live Stream at www.facebook.com/aycockftpierce/
