Theresa was born in Queens, New York and married the love of her life, Frank in 1948. Their union would last sixty-one happy years. Theresa and Frank lived in Deer Park, NY for many years raising three sons prior to relocating to Florida. An accomplished pianist, she would often lull her children to sleep at night with her wonderful talent. Theresa would continue to play beautifully for her entire life.
Upon moving to Florida, Theresa and Frank started BagelPort Restaurant where they spent several wonderful years serving friends and customers from the Sebastian area and the Barefoot Bay community in which they lived.
Theresa was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She excelled at each of those roles making her family the center of her life. Always meticulous, she had the most wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh at her eldest son Frank Jr’s stories. She considered family her greatest treasure. Theresa also had a special place in her heart for her two sisters, Marie Franke of Sebastian, Fl, and Rita Coppola of Bayshore, NY.
