Andrew Englot

November 19, 1940 - January 3, 2012

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Andrew Gordon Englot on January 3, 2012, after a year long battle with cancer. Andrew was born on November 19,1940 on the home farm in the Abernethy district to Anton and Julia (nee Misko) Englot. Andrew was a grain and cattle farmer in the Abernethy area all of his life. He was a extremely hard worker who loved what he did. He farmed right up to the last months of his life. Andrew is predeceased by his parents Anton and Julia, father-in-law Martin Heil, sister Bernice Johnston, brothers-in-law, Ross Johnston and Ron Grobowsky, sister-in-law Joyce Englot and nephew Todd Johnston. Andrew is survived by his loving wife Gloria (nee Heil), daughter Cathy (Darrell Poelzer) children Andrea and Ryan of Balgonie, SK, son Darrell and daughter Wanda (fiancee Neil Legaarden) of Abernethy, SK, son Quinton (Traci) of Victoria, BC, and daughter Naomi (Steve Nadeau) children Nicholas, Makayla and Matthew of Black Diamond, AB, mother-in-law Annie Heil of Lemberg, SK, brother Joseph Englot of Abernethy, SK. Sisters, Elaine (Warren Gottselig) of Last Mountain Lake, SK, Florence Grobowsky of Richmond, BC. Numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed. Prayers will be held in Sacred Heart Church, Lebret, SK Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 7:30 P.M. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lebret, SK on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. by Rev. Ronald Andree. Interment in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Lemberg, SK.
