BARBARA ALVINA RING - On Wednesday, June 22, 2016, Barbara Ring (nee Butz), widow of Harvey Ring, Fort Qu'Appelle, SK died at the age of 86 years. The Funeral Service will be held in Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Fort Qu'Appelle, SK., on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Todd Guggenmos officiating. Cremation with Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Barbara was predeceased by her mother Ludwicka Butz and her father Wilhem Butz, brother Edmund Butz, sisters Tina Scherle, Martha Bell, Lenore Kiel and Helen Hubick, her husband Harvey Ring, son Jamie Ring and son-in-law Larry Barkway. She is survived by her brother Alfred (Mary) Butz, Regina; her daughters Cheryl (Dale) Ermel, Shelley (Neil) Cochrane, son David (Michelle) Ring, her grandchildren: Tyrell Barkway (Krystle), Troy (Stephanie) Barkway, Murray Barkway, Tera Lynn Cochrane (Sandy), Lane (Sarah) Cochrane, Drew Cochrane (Katelyn), Mathew Ring, Tanner Ring, Karli Ring, all from Regina and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Broadway Terrace Staff for the love and care of Barbara over the last few years. Thanks to 5E staff, Dr. Vermeulen and Dr. Wildenboer for the awesome compassionate care Barbara and her family received while at the Regina General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire contributions may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Box 1519, Fort Qu'Appelle, SK S0G 1S0 as tokens of remembrance.
