She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Godkin; parents Clifton and Catherine Davis; brother Lorne and sisters: Nelda, Noel, Eileen and Donna.
Beulah is survived by her children: Donelda, Guy (Stephanie) and Clyde (Dee); brother Rick (Jill); sister Debbie (Gill); brother-in-law Daniel Ball; sister-in-law Gloria Davis; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Beulah was born and raised with her family on the farm near Govan, SK. After growing up, she met and married Harold Erhardt. They farmed in the Duval area and had 3 children at which time Beulah became the home maker. After a while the family moved to Balcarres, SK. Although the marriage didn’t last, Beulah continued to live. She went to school to become a Canadian Nurses Assistant and worked in Regina and Balcarres for years. In that time, she met Clarence Godkin and they too married. They lived on the farm near Balcarres where they farmed and Beulah continued to work at the hospital. Clarence and Beulah lived on the farm until Clarence’s death and after a few years she moved to Balcarres where she lived until her passing. Beulah, also known as Mom, Mama, Beulie and Aunty, was a kindhearted woman who loved her family. She loved her gardening, tending to all her plants and flowers, hunting, fishing, animals (especially dogs), photography and socializing. She liked making buns to share with friends and family. Once a week she just had to get her hair done and go spinning. Beulah will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Thanks to Candace (neighbor) who found Beulah, the Balcarres EMS for tending to Beulah, St Peter’s Hospital in Melville for taking awesome care of her in her final days, Tubman Funeral Home for help with all the arrangements, Pastor Brian for officiating the service and Darlene for providing lunch.
Donations can be made to the Lung SK, 2308 Arlington Ave., Saskatoon, SK, S7J 3L3 or the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, 9 Lancaster Rd, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1M8.
A graveside service will take place in Balcarres Cemetery, Balcarres, Saskatchewan on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Brian R. Mee, followed by a gathering at Clyde and Dee’s farm for lunch and some reminiscing.
