Garry Wayne Bellegarde Sr.

Garry was predeceased by his grandparents John Bellegarde Sr. and Marie Dumont, Alex Desnomie and Margret Wells; parents Archiebald Bellegarde and Theresa Desnomie; brothers Dale Bellegarde and Alvin Bellegarde Sr; his children’s mother Lorenda Allary and his life long companion Lynda Francis.

He is survived by his adopted mother Cora Thompson and family; his special friend Stella Isnana; brothers Noel (Audrey) Bellegarde and Robert (Delphine) Bellegarde; children: Trudy, Garry Jr. (Clarissa) Bellegarde, Breeta (Scott) Verhoeven, Shawn (Wendy) Francis and Marnie Francis; grandchildren: Cortney, Racheal, Lindsey, Darla, Tyler, Emmet and Susanna; numerous great- grandchildren; special niece Erica Allary and many, many other family and friends.

The wake was held in the Fort Qu'Appelle Legion Hall, Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Prayers followed at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service was held in the Fort Qu'Appelle Legion Hall on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

Pallbearers were: Jason Bellegarde, Bradly Bellegarde, Chad O'Watch, Tyson Sanderson, Shawn Francis, Tyler Ponace and Troy Isnana.

Honourary Pallbearers were Raymond Desnomie, Windy O'Watch and Harry Francis.
