Margaret Mary Gurski

She was born on July 9, 1937 to Agnes (Kristoff) and Joe Onrait on the family farm near Balcarres. She married Ivan Gurski on June 9, 1955 and spent her first four years of married life working in the banking industry as a teller in Balcarres, Carlyle and Weyburn. In 1959 they moved to Fort Qu’Appelle to operate a restaurant and gas bar and in 1960 they moved to the Weber farm and began their passion in agriculture where she enjoyed gardening and raising her family of which she was very proud of.

Marg was predeceased by her parents.

She will be sadlly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Ivan. Daughter Tammy Novak (Tony) and their son Mike Rokosh. Son Tim (Diane) and their family including Renay Kelemen (Trent) and their sons Zandan and Tayvin; Ashley Ouellette (Jeff) and their sons Miles and Eric: and Christina. One brother, Stuart Onrait (and special friend Beulah Godkin); as well as numerous relatives.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire donations may be made to the Balcarres Integrated Care Center, Box 340, Balcarres, SK S0G 0C0 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3 as tokens of rememberance.
