Audry Laurine McDougall

With a mixture of sadness and reflection, we announce the passing of Audry Mcdougall, age 91 years, on February 16, 2025. Born on March 9, 1933, Audry lived a long life that spanned many generations, and while her journey was not without its challenges, she made a lasting impact on the loves she touched.

Audry was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and throughout the years, she carries her own unique approach to family and life. Her strength and resilience were undeniable, and through not everyone agreed with her ways, there was no question about her love for her family in her own way. She taught us all the valuable lessons, both through her actions and her words.

She is survived by her daughters, Diann, Lorna (Don), Lorraine (Mark), Chris (Doug), and Laurel (Doug); 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, who will each carry with them their own memories of her.

Audry was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1958 and her husband Don in 2011; parents, Robert and Mable; brothers, Alvin and Orval (Margaret); granddaughter Teresa; and son-in-law, Len.

We take a moment to recognize her life and the legacy she leaves behind. A service to honour her life will be helf at the Bruderheim Community Church, 4904 Queen Street, Bruderheim AB, on March 9, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
