It is with deep sadness that the family of Carol Summerfeld announces her peaceful passing on February 3rd at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
Carol will be forever remembered by her devoted husband, Albert Summerfeld; her children, Craig Summerfeld, Suzanne Summerfeld, Marla Teskey (Patrik Teskey), and Niall Summerfeld (Angela Summerfeld); and her cherished grandchildren, Rachelle, Melanie, Craig, Jr, Kane, Chad, Jessie, Samantha, Hailey, Max, and Daphne. She will also be greatly missed by many extended family members and dear friends.
Carol was especially known for her gifted crafting and beautiful quilting, and for her love of travel and the many adventures she enjoyed over the years. Her warmth and creativity will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the healthcare team in Edmonton for their compassion and care.
