Elizabeth passed away March 7, 2012 quietly in her sleep. She is survived by her three children, Cathy (Don) Roshko of Redwater, Greg (Rosie) Nelson of Fort Saskatchewan, and Michelle (Don) Madro of Fort Saskatchewan; and her seven grandchildren, Sarah, Nicole, and Matthew Roshko, Maria and Kieran Nelson, and Kurtis and Jesse Madro; as well as her siblings, Paul Strilchuk, Wilma (Ralph) Nordstrom, Margaret (George Sulacva) Soderstrom, Annette (Ernie) Howrish, Lorraine Fuchs, Mary-Ann Bleasby, Joanne (Don) Coyne, and Gary (DJ) Strilchuk. Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; her parents, Anne and Jack Strilchuk; and her siblings, Sylvia Nadon and Phillip Strilchuk.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 10004 – 101 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, with Father Christudhas Gnanaprakasam (Father Chris) as celebrant. Interment will follow at Fort Saskatchewan Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice are gratefully accepted in lieu of flowers.
