Judith Marie Connolly

It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to my Mom Judee. beloved mother, mother-in-law, and Nana. Judee passed away peacefully, at the Royal Alex Hospital in Edmonton, on April 11th, surrounded by her family and listening to her favorite Garth Brooks album.

Judee was born May 5, 1949 in North Sydney, NS to Ralph and Ada Currie. In 1975 Judee married Robert. They had one son, Josh, and In 1981 the family moved to Fort Saskatchewan area where they spent many happy years. She was predeceased by infant daughter, Jennifer in 1975, and husband Robert in 2001. Judee was a devoted mother who cherished her family. She was always there to support them in their endeavours and was thrilled when Josh married Krista in 2018. Judee welcomed Krista into the family with open arms and loved her as her own daughter.

Judee's greatest joys in life were her two grandsons, Jackson and Bennett. Her best times were with them, spoiling them with love and affection, cuddling with them and sharing her favorite stories and memories with them. Their love for their Nana will last forever.

Judee is survived by her brother, Ralph and family, and her sister, Debra and family. She made many friends over the years with her kind and loving spirit that will live on in the memories of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed by Josh, Krista, Jackson, Bennett, and the many friends she has made.
