Leafa’s family announces her passing on the evening of December 12th, 2013 in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. She is survived by her husband of 56 wonderful years, Al; her son, Kirk of Calgary; daughter, Janalea (Keith) Black of Swan Hills; son, Kenzie of Swan Hills; 3 grandchildren, Kelvin, Rowanne, and Emily of Swan Hills; her brother, Garry (Jane) Drew of Long Lake, ON. She will be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Verna Drew; and her brother, Bryce.
Leafa lived a full and meaningful life. She loved her family, her church, her music, and she loved the Lord. A service to remember her life will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 1:30 pm at First United Church, Fort Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Mission and Service Fund, via the congregation of your choice.
