Sorry to read of Marshall’s passing.  We met Pat and Marshall many years ago when they were caretakers of the Wolf Lake campground. He was always a gentle man and a pleasure to talk to. He worked hard to make sure everybody had a great camping experience. We already miss him.

Marshall is a fond memory beginning with the  Ft. Sask B90 days. No matter how tough the situation, Marshall was always good natured and even temepered. He ran B90 maintenence very well. He produced a great atmosphere as well as success.  He always had time for you...and your problems.  
Marshall is no small part of the grand feelings Mary and I will always feel for the Ft. Sask site...and the people there.

My deepest condolences to Marshall's family. 

I had the good fortune to work with Marshall on the design and maintenance of the H.C.P. project back in the '90s  .  Marshall always remained cool, calm, and collected whenever a problem  or difficulty arose. 

Pat and family - our condolences to you on the loss of Marshall. I remember well lots of meetings and plans for shutdowns with Marshall when we were both at CA I. There were lots of challenges for all of us there, and Marshall stood head and shoulders above the fray as we faced the many issues that came up. May he rest in peace.

 Our family has made lifelong friendships and memories with Marshall and Pat over the past 16 years. Marshall was a kind, respected, dedicated man. We had the privilege of sharing a fish fry with Marshall this summer and I'm certain Marshall enjoyed the meal and friendship as much as we did.

I had the privilege of working with Marshall many times over the course of my 20 year career at Dow Chemical in Fort Saskatchewan. Our closest experience together was working on the Expansion of the Hydrocarbons Plant back in the late 90's when Marshall worked as the Maintenance Representative on the Project Team. Marshall was an outstanding leader whose demeanor was calm and focused. He would not get rattled, excited or angry even under the most pressing of circumstances. Marshall was a laser focused on solving the problems, and not on assigning blame. Marshall surrounded himself with good people and always managed to get the best from them. 
It was an honour and a privileged to have known Marshall and to have been able to work so closely with him.  He always conducted himself as a gentleman.

I worked at Dow with Marshall through the 90’s at HCP when he was Maintenance Manager. I found him to be an outstanding leader and an amazing person. Presented with chaos after the plant crashed due to mechanical failure Marshall would retreat to his office returning in no time with a crisp plan complete with a detailed schedule. He would then efficiently lead his department in getting the plant repaired and back in operation. He was universally respected for his exceptional technical ability but more importantly his supportive calm compassionate treatment of everyone he touched.

It was indeed a privilege and an honour to have known him.

I worked on many projects with Marshall, starting with the new Chlorine plant. He was awesome to deal with and I admired his calm demeanour. RIP my friend. 

For the past 20-40 years, three generations in my family share many of our most precious memories together while camping at Wolf Lake. Marshall (and you, Pat) have been responsible for, and are part of these precious memories. Marshall will be missed and remembered by all in my family(s) for his good humour, friendship and unwavering assistance at Wolf Lake Campground. Sad to hear of Marshall's passing.  Our paths crossed several times throughout my Dow career.  The calmest and most organized person in any situation that arose.  He could always create a path forward and lead the way to the desired outcome.  Work aside; he was always a very enjoyable person to have a chat with.

I first met Marshall when I arrived in “The Fort” in June 1968 and started work at Dow  Chemical.  We were both maintenance electricians and helped startup the new Chlor alkali plant.  Me being a new immigrant, Marshall helped me a great deal in my new country.
    We have remained friends ever since, so I am so sad to hear of his passing.  My sincere condolences to His wife Pat and their Son  Jason, as well as the rest of their family members.
