Mary Lacusta

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family announces her passing on December 24, 2020 at the age of 87 years, formally of Wandering River, due to complications of COVID-19. Mary will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by husband, Russell of 68 years; her daughters, Gwenn, Carol (Jeff), Heather (Dennis), Deborah (Rick); her sons, Wayne (Joanne) and Warren (Alexis); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sisters.

Mary was a daughter of late parents, Metro and Katie Kostiuk; Mary was predeceased by son in law, John, infant grandson, her siblings: infant brother George, John, Nick, Andy, Bill and sister, Lena. Due to the current situation and AHS Restrictions, there will be no funeral at this time, but a Memorial will be held at a later date.

Cremation has been entrusted to First Memorial – Riverview Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta.

The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of Salem Manor Nursing Home for the care of mom this past year and a half.
