It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Melanie Shepard at the young age of 49. Melanie will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Eleanor (Ellie) and her two beautiful step daughters Brianne and Jenna Cockerill. She is survived by her loving parents Jocelyn & Kenny Maclean and Bernely & Rhonda Shepard. She will be fondly remembered by her step sister Lindsay, step brothers Michael & Jason, her niece and nephews Summer, Ryan, Jacob & Jackson. Melanie will be deeply missed by Scott Cockerill and the entire Cockerill family, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & many friends. She was predeceased by her sister Nadine Fraser, Eleanor & Howard Maclean (Grammy & Gramps) as well as by her Nana & Grampy Shepard.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Ellerslie Rugby Park, 11004 Ellerslie RD SW, Edmonton, AB at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 15th, 2023.
