It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Michael Douglas German on December 24, 2013, in Andrew, Alberta. He was 57 years of age, born in Halifax a son of George and Eleanor German. Mike was a plumber/pipefitter by trade and moved to Alberta for work. He was a member of the Halifax and Edmonton local union for over 35 years. He is survived by his parents; wife, Laurie; son, Christopher (Stephanie); brothers, David (Shirley), Stephen (Sherry), Tim (Debbie) and Tom; stepdaughter, Jessica (Monty); three grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Roy; stepson, Jonathan. Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements at a later date in Nova Scotia.
