Sina Karen Jesson

She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Darrell (Rose), and Kevin (Terri-Ann); sister, Edith; brother, Cecil (Sylvia); her 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild; several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Sina was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, John William Francis; brother, Allen; daughter, Lorelei; granddaughter, Michelle; and her parents, Olaf and Ruth Olson.

Sina was born on July 13, 1941, in Ardath, Saskatchewan. She met the love of her life and married on November 19, 1960. Sina was an administrator at Dow Chemical in Fort Saskatchewan and retired in June of 1997. Sina enjoyed painting, knitting, crocheting, and dabbling in all kinds of crafts. She mostly loved to sew and when the weather was nice, she was either out in her gardens or tending to many plants she would have on her deck. Sina was proud of her family and loved it when her grandchildren visited.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00PM on June 12, 2026 at First Memorial Funeral Services-Riverview Chapel 11090 86 Avenue Fort Saskatchewan Alberta, followed by interment in the Fort Saskatchewan Cemetery where Sina and her husband John will be placed in their final resting place together.
