

Arthur E. McDonald, Jr. 90 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011. He was a member of the Rock Island Full Gospel Church, retired from Yoe’s Printing, and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II where he received three Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the Fort Smith Area Amateur Radio Club and the American Radio League. He was preceded in death by his son Phillip McDonald.
Services will be 11:30 AM Monday, April 4, 2011 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial and Military Honors to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Juanita of the home; two daughters Priscilla Hebert of Poteau, OK and Tanya Young and her husband Silas of Fort Smith; three sons Gary McDonald and his wife Jeanne of Barling, Clyde McDonald and his wife Barbara Gail of Rock Island, OK, and Danny McDonald and his wife Karen of Van Buren; 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Andrew Hebert, Gary S. McDonald, Matthew Young, Jonathan Hale, Terry McDonald, Amanda McDonald, and Nathan Sosebee.
Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday April 3, 2011 at the funeral home.
