Barbara Vick Loris of Fort Smith entered into rest Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was born April 7, 1927 in Fort Smith to the late Roy and Gailey Vick. She and her husband owned O’Neel-Loris Florist. She was a fourth generation member of First Lutheran Church. Barbara was the widow of Gene Loris. She was preceded in death by her sisters Betty and Donna.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
She is survived by her four children and daughter-in-law; Sylvia Rawlings of Lenexa, KS, Roy and Susan Loris of Tulsa, OK, and Keith and Mark Loris both of Fort Smith. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and a step-granddaughter, four great-grandsons and three step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to First Lutheran Church 1115 North “D” Street Ft. Smith, AR 72901.
