Barbara Ann Vickers

Barbara Ann Vickers, 59 of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She was born February 1, 1953 in Forrest City, AR to the late Joseph and Wanda Clark. She was a Baptist and a Laundry Attendant at Queen’s Laundry. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Thompson.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, July 20th at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery in Ozark. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

She is survived by her husband Michael Vickers of the home; daughter Tabitha Thompson of Nashville, TN, two sons: Larry Thompson of Ft. Smith and James Thompson of Springfield, MO; three sisters: Marsha Jo Miller of Ft. Smith, Minnie Ross of Howe, OK, and Mary Boisvert of Mulberry, and one brother David Clark of Fort Smith. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Fowler, Cody Thompson, Alex Cain, Kyle Kranc, Terry Vickers, and Wesley Collins.

Family will receive guests 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Thursday, July 19th at the funeral home.
