Betty Clark Dolan, 81, of Fort Smith entered into rest Oct. 9, 2018. She was born in Jenny Lind, Arkansas on April 8, 1937, to George W. Clark and Ida Harper Clark. Betty was the secretary treasurer of Fort Smith Plating, an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and LWML, and she was also a lifetime member of ESA. She retired in 2000, and traveled the world with her husband, Bobby Dolan, of 61 years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved life, but knew she had a place in Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Dolan; a daughter, Tonia Wood; a granddaughter, Jennifer Wood; brothers, Cecil and Ambrose Clark; and two sisters, Thelma Fritts and Wanda Fant.
She is survived by a son, Bobby Dolan, II and wife Jackie Dolan of Fort Smith; a sister, Lenora Stermetz; five grandchildren, Lacey Ledbetter, Bobby Dolan, III, Christopher Dolan and wife Ashley Dolan, and Matthew Dolan; and four great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Scotty Ledbetter, and Georgia and Leon Dolan.
Visitation will be Thursday Oct. 11, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday Oct. 12, 2018 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Dolan, Matthew Dolan, Marty Fant, Mason Fant, Danny Egbert, and Elliott Egbert. Honorary Pallbearers will be the women of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church LWML.
