Betty L Flippin

Betty L. Flippin, 83, of Fort Smith went home to be with the Lord November 15th, 2011. She was born September 18th, 1928 in Lamar, AR. She was a member of Phoenix Village Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling and RV trips to the lake with her late husband. She was retired from Riverside Furniture as a Quality Control Supervisor. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Flippin, Jr.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Fort Smith National Cemetery with Pastor Kelsey Dime officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by three daughters Janice Galloway of Fort Smith, Debbie Treat of Fort Smith and Lisa Nichols of Atkins, two brothers Kenneth Harmon of Lamar and Leon Strope of Fayetteville, three grandchildren Melissa Erwin, Mandy Dime and Jeremy Galloway and two great grandchildren Dalton and Eli Erwin.

The family will visit with friends Wednesday, November 16, 2011, from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Edwards Funeral Home
