Bill Edwards, 81, of Fort Smith, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. He was born on June 17, 1941 in Fort Smith to the late Joe and Edna Edwards. Bill was the retired owner of Industrial Roofing, Inc. He was a member of Rye Hill Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Bill was an outdoor person and he loved to spend all of his free time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Edwards and two brothers, Joe and Jerry Edwards.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Niblett (Larry), of Fort Smith; a sister, Nancy Edwards of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Nicole Stormes (Ely), and Weston Niblett; three great grandchildren, Harper, Krew and Knox Stormes.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Weston Niblett, Ely Stormes, Mark Cumbie, Grady Cumbie, Jr., Joshua Faulkner and Gabe Belin.
