Billy Ray Smith

Billy Ray Smith, 70 of Fort Smith passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born November 29, 1941 in Spiro, OK to the late Willie Smith and Eva Jane Brewer Smith. He was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and a retired Forklift Driver for Rheem Manufacturing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Billy Ray Smith, Jr. and a granddaughter Megan Smith.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 29, 2012 at Grand Avenue Baptist Church with burial to follow at Barling Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Marian of the home; three sons Andy Smith, Greg Smith, and Chad Smith all of Fort Smith, eight grandchildren: Christopher Smith, Kinzee Campbell, Katie Smith, Ryan Smith, Rachel Smith all of Fort Smith, Taylor Smith of Phoenix, AZ, Madison Smith and Conner Smith both of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers will be Andy, Greg, Chad, Christopher, and Ryan Smith and Pat Scheurer.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, October 28th at the funeral home.
